Visiting a habituated meerkat colony

Guests love spending time at one of Tswalu’s habituated meerkat colonies, especially in the morning when they first emerge into the sunlight. There is always one meerkat standing sentry, vigilantly scanning the horizon for any predators. Whether grooming or foraging, there is always safety in numbers. Their long, sharp claws make it easy to dig and forage for prey, like scorpions and insects.
