PRINTS FOR A PURPOSE
Meaning ‘a new beginning’, Tswalu has been leading the restoration and conservation of the southern Kalahari for almost 30 years. Purchasing wildlife prints from our gallery is an easy and effective way to support the science behind Tswalu’s conservation vision to leave the world better than how we found it. Our photographic print gallery is a considered, curated collection of images depicting the beauty and diversity of Tswalu and the southern Kalahari. These limited-edition prints by talented wildlife photographers are available to buy online and include a generous donation to the Tswalu Foundation to help fund research.
The value of research in the field of conservation
Research, supported by the Tswalu Foundation, plays an integral role in conservation. Through the foundation, long-term research projects provide a comprehensive, science-based understanding of the fragile Kalahari ecosystem, including the impact of climate change as temperatures become more extreme.
Wildlife photographers doing well by doing good
The limited-edition wildlife and landscape prints in our gallery reflects each photographer’s reverence for the natural world and love for the southern Kalahari and Tswalu. Thanks to the generosity of these photographers, 50 percent of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Tswalu Foundation for the purpose of funding existing research projects and launching new ones. The other 50 percent will be paid to the photographer.
Purpose-filled purchases in support of conservation
Perhaps you have experienced Tswalu firsthand or are planning a future sojourn in the southern Kalahari. Either way, your purchase will keep the memories or dream alive. So, whether to enhance your home, hang in your office, or gift to someone special, think of this as a little reminder of the restoration miracle that is Tswalu and our ambitious vision to restore the Kalahari to itself.
